Thank you for taking a look at my letter, and thank you in advance for whatever you choose to write! In general, I'm a fluff lover who just wants everyone to be happy. I would love a treat, too, if anyone is inspired. My DNWs and general likes are below, plus a bit more info on each requested fandom.

I ADORE a How They Got Together story, especially for canons where there isn't a clear relationship established;
I really like just peaceful moments for the characters I love. A picnic where nothing really happens? Lovely! A day at home doing chores? Wonderful! Teaching some kids to do something? Brilliant!;
For fandoms where I've only requested one character, I'd love either a gen character exploration, or them paired with... basically anyone.

Request: Okay so I just love all of these guys SO MUCH. I'd love the "how we got together" of any combo, or a deeper exploration of any of them individually and/or their friendships. I know that's not much to go on, but I'm really wide open on this one!

僕らの食卓 | Bokura no Shokutaku | Our Dining Table (TV)
Characters requested: Hozumi Yutaka, Ueda Minoru, Ueda Tane
Request: I want happy family times, if possible: going to a park, or going somewhere special on a holiday, or going to a traditional festival, or staying in and cooking a new recipe together, etc. I love their sweetness and how much all the family members (including Hozumi) clearly care for each other.

Our Life: Beginnings & Always (Visual Novel)
Characters requested: Cove Holden
Request: I love the concept of Cove as autistic-coded, so I'd absolutely love to read more about him from that perspective. But regardless of that, I'd also enjoy exploring the friendships between Cove and the other characters, too, particularly any of the other nominated characters.

Space Cases (TV)
Characters requested: Any
Request: Man, I ADORED this show as it was airing, and have gone back to watch it since with such starry eyes. I would love anything regarding any of these characters, but some ideas might be:

a backstory study of Catalina (her history of having an "imaginary" friend) or Thelma (what was she like before this trip?);
Radu and Harlan's friendship; or
Seth and TJ's relationship.

But please don't feel limited by these! I'm wide open here too.

Sungkyunkwan Scandal

Request: I love him. He is my absolute favorite character in all of kdramaland, so anything I could read focused on him (and/or his relationships) would be amazing. Give me the angsty backstory scenes we never see, a detailed happy ending, or anything else, including AUs.

Enchanted Forest Chronicles - Patricia Wrede
Characters requested: Any
Request: This is my favorite book series of all time, and I FORGOT to nominate it so to whoever did: thank youuuuu! I would honestly love anything, but some ideas would be:

Morwen/Telemain backstory or future mundane (lmao) happiness;
Cimorene raising Daystar;
Mendenbar and Daystar slowly developing their relationship;
Everyday palace joys and frustrations with Cimorene and Mendenbar; or
An average, (mostly) uneventful day in the life of Cimorene, princess of Kazul.

Scouting For Girls: A Musical Primer and Pimping Post

So. Scouting for Girls. I refuse to say they're my "favorite band," but that's not a commentary on how much I enjoy their music (see footnote). I LOVE THEM. I LOVE THEM SO FUCKING MUCH.

I first heard about SFG in 2008, soon after their first album was released. I followed them for over a year, even watching their adorable webseries as it aired. I lost track of them only a month or so before their second album came out (I have awful timing), and recently came back, realizing that I adore them even more three years later. I am now on a campaign to spread the word to everyone who doesn't know about SFG, particularly in the US. They're not an obscure band, but they are (at least for now) a fairly regional band. My attempts at globalizing their popularity are in equal parts because of my love for these boys and desire to see them succeed, and because they haven't done shows in the US since 2008 and I really really REALLY want to see them live someday, and the best way to make that happen is to make Wolfcubs of EVERYONE EVER.

That's right. Their fan base is called "Wolfcubs." ATTENTION ALL TEEN WOLF FANS: YOU SHOULD LOVE THIS BAND. <3

Also, EVERYONE SHOULD JUST LISTEN TO THEM. No really. There is something for EVERYONE from this band. They manage to perfectly ride that line between a single, cohesive sound (you know them when you hear them, even if it's a new song) and exploring all the various musical inspirations we've all encountered our whole lives.

FOOTNOTE: I found my first "favorite band" in 1998, when I saw a Canadian made-for-TV movie about a kid who gets hired as an A&R guy for a record company and finds the next big band. The band was played by real-life band Treble Charger, and I fell in love. Their music got me through some incredibly tough times in high school, and I was reluctant to ever give that title to anyone else--not even when they broke up in 2006. But in late September 2011, I realized another band had finally replaced them: The Academy Is... had become my go-to music for tough times, their lyrics echo how I think about the world around me, and I had a lot of ~feelings about William Beckett's relationship with accidentals. I was sitting out on my back patio one morning, drinking tea and listening to Fast Times at Barrington High, when I finally admitted to myself that Treble Charger was no longer my "favorite band." TAI... was. And less than two weeks later, TAI... announced their breakup (I found out, ironically, when I was sitting on my back porch drinking tea). Three months after that, Treble Charger got back together.

The universe has obviously decided to fuck with my mind regarding any band I consider my "favorite," so I've given up using that phrase to describe anyone anymore. I refuse to be responsible for causing anyone else moniker-induced difficulties. O_x
